Who we are

Nathan B. Thomas, CPA, is the founder of Talent Tax and Accounting, bringing over 25 years of experience to the Pagosa Springs community. For over two decades, Nathan has been a trusted advisor, helping individuals and small businesses navigate the complexities of tax and accounting with a commitment to building lasting relationships, not just processing transactions.

Nathan believes that behind every tax return is a person or a family with unique goals. His approach is rooted in understanding these goals and providing personalized solutions. In addition to his professional life, Nathan is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fly fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking throughout the beautiful Pagosa Springs area.

Nathan's son-in-law, Andrew, has joined the team to manage administrative tasks and is training directly under Nathan to learn the art of tax and bookkeeping. This partnership ensures that Talent Tax and Accounting will continue to provide the dedicated, personal service you've come to expect.  Andrew has a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Colorado Christian University.

Andrew loves musical theatre, bluegrass music, backpacking, and mountain climbing, to name a few passions! He hopes to support Nathan's vision for the new business and provide thoughtful, thorough service for each client that comes through our doors.
